Bulky Waste Collection & Single Item Removal

Some jobs are just one awkward item: a mattress that won't fit in the car, a fridge that's packed up, a sofa that has to come down two flights of stairs. We collect single items as readily as full loads.

We do the loading

You don't need to load the van yourself — our team handles the loading.

Licensed waste carrier

Waste transfer notes available on collection for your records.

Responsible disposal

Waste goes to licensed transfer stations where reusable and recyclable material is separated.

Common bulky collections

  • Mattresses and divan bases
  • Sofas, armchairs and recliners
  • Wardrobes, chests of drawers and dining sets
  • Fridges, freezers, washing machines and cookers, where accepted
  • Bagged household rubbish and bin bag collections
  • Wheelie bin emptying, where the contents are bagged

Tell us about the access

For upstairs flats, tight stairwells, communal corridors or restricted doorways, let us know the floor level, access and what needs removing when requesting your quote. That helps us assess the job and plan the collection properly.

Bagged waste and bin collections

If your bin has been missed or you've simply got more than the council collection takes, we can empty a wheelie bin provided the contents are bagged. Loose waste in a bin is difficult to lift out safely, so bagging it first keeps the job quick.

Why a man & van instead of a skip

  • We do the loading — you don't need to load the van yourself
  • No skip sitting outside the property for days
  • No skip permit to arrange where one would otherwise be needed
  • Works for a single item or a full clearance
  • Collections arranged around your day
  • Same-day or next-day where our schedule allows
  • Domestic and commercial collections

What we can remove

We can't take every type of waste — check the accepted & prohibited waste list if you're unsure about something.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Send your postcode

Tell us where the waste is so we can check it's inside our collection area.

  2. Step 2

Send photos and a short description

A couple of photos of the pile, plus anything we should know about access, stairs or parking.

  3. Step 3

    Receive a quote

We come back with a price based on what we can see, not a vague hourly rate.

  4. Step 4

    Arrange collection

Pick a slot that suits you. Same-day and next-day collections are sometimes possible, subject to availability.

  5. Step 5

    We load and remove it

Our team handles loading the van, tidies the collection area and takes the waste away.

Bulky Waste Collection — your questions

Will you come out for one item?

Yes. Single item collections are a normal part of our week — send a photo and we'll price it.

Do you take mattresses?

Yes. Mattresses are collected regularly and go to a licensed transfer station for processing.

Can you empty my wheelie bin?

We can, as long as the contents are bagged. Loose waste inside the bin can't be emptied safely.
